Hello World!

This is my first attempt at a blog.  Thankfully I am being taught as part of a Placed Based Education class I am taking at the Montana Natural History Center.  My focus, I hope is to share my thinking about nature, and place based education with others, especially my new grandson, Ca'el Kevin Furey, who was born last week.  I also want to share with others who are teachers, grandparents and parents fun, great learning opportunities that can happen outside and inside.
